Estate planning is a practical way to create greater control, clarity, and peace of mind—for yourself and for the people who matter to you.
We are a Black woman-owned estate planning and administration law firm. As a Black woman attorney, finance professional, theologian, and ethicist, I understand that estate planning is connected not only to property, but also to family, culture, complex relationships, love, stewardship, empowerment, and creating generational wealth.
I founded Neon Edge at a point in my career when I wanted greater control and peace of mind in my own life. After decades of helping organizations and individuals navigate complex financial, legal, and ethical decisions, I wanted to bring that experience together in work that could make life clearer and easier for people and their families.
I am both a pragmatist and an idealist. I see the world as it is, but I also believe in what it can be: more just, inclusive, joyful, and loving—a world where people do not merely suffer or survive, but have the opportunity to thrive.
My background includes more than 30 years of professional experience and degrees in business, finance, law, theology, and social ethics. I am licensed to practice law in Maryland and Washington, D.C., and I am completing a Ph.D. in social ethics. This breadth shapes how I serve clients because your life cannot be reduced to a set of legal documents. Your plan should reflect your relationships, responsibilities, values, property, business interests, hopes, and concerns.
